Pictured here are three of Iowa's finest babes!! Karla, Jean and Laure (left to right). I had the pleasure of meeting Karla and Jean in Osage, Iowa on RAGBRAI XXI. They were having dinner and I joined them and we've been good buds ever since. Noticed they are all sporting RADPAN stickers strategically placed (oh, to be a RADPAN sticker). You can use your imagination on how they got there. Over the years, we've shared a few drinks. Even some "flaming fuzzy mother ....." (i.e., Bacardi 151 and Vodka) on their first RAGBRAI.

Their motto is "Ride every day, not every mile. Remember this is vacation."

 

I met Bob Carlson and some native Iowans as we all shared some shade under a tree on Thursday. Bob is from Apple Valley, California and we enjoyed some converstation before heading out again in the heat.
