RADPAN Cycling

Founded in the summer of 1991, RADPAN Cycling was conceived by Jeff Dunn and his fellow cycling buds. The name RADPAN (Ride All Day Party All Night) was the brain-child of Doug Padrutt (one of the founding members) and seemed to fit the attitude of the group. As the team has aged, other names crop up to depict the revised attitude of the group. Some might say, RADWAN (Ride All Day Whine All Night) is a better fit or RADSAN (Ride All Day Sleep All Night) or RADBAN (Ride All Day Barf All Night) or even RADHESAN (Ride All Day Have Emergency Surgery All Night).

Whatever the name, we have been blessed with the opportunity to meet some of the finest people in the world during our RAGBRAI adventures -- IOWANS!!!! For one week every year in July, Iowans graciously let cyclists from every state in the U.S. and many countries throughout the world call Iowa "home."
